Tis the season! Thanksgiving has passed and Christmas and New Year’s Eve are right around the corner. Time sure does fly when you are busy having fun! San Francisco is definitely in the holiday spirit this year. The whole city is glowing with sparkling holiday lights and wreaths. That fabulous tree that all of us San Franciscans know and love is up in Union Square, looking absolutely gorgeous. This is Macy’s 23rd year giving this stunning gift to San Francisco. The 83-foot re-usable tree will be covered in 33,000 twinkling LED lights and colorful ornaments!
Next to the enormous Christmas tree in Union Square is an awesome ice skating rink, open from now until January 21st. So if you want to get into the holiday spirit, and are in San Francisco, be sure to make it downtown to Union Square to enjoy some beautiful decorations, ice-skating and holiday shopping!
